What a tremendous honour to be part of Pachinko Season 2 (Apple TV+)!

I had the privilege of playing “Cielito Lindo” on guitar for a scene with the incredible Youn Yuh-jung (Sunja) and Jun Kunimura (Kato) in a Mexican restaurant. Both legends were so kind and humble. I even had the chance to chat briefly with Ms. Yuh-jung. I’ve admired her acting since Season 1, and when I told her I was a fan, she looked genuinely surprised and asked, “Oh, you know me?” I couldn’t believe how humble she was.

I mimed along to pre-recorded audio I created for the scene—no sound allowed on set. Hope it looks convincing!

And stay tuned—I had the honour of playing another role with different music in a whole new time and place. Can’t wait for you all to see it! 🎬🎶

Also found Nacho Guitars (the ones Julian Lage uses) at my old workplace. It’s 11,472CAD lol. They were kind enough to let me try it.
It played and sounded heavenly. Maybe in my next life.

あと前の職場で偶然ナチョギターを見つけてしまった。買えるわけないが弾かせて頂いた。音良すぎ。とても危険。
