the softness of things returns to TAWKS with 100 freshly baked cookies in two flavours:
a. cardamom, shoyu caramel, dark chocolate
b. tahini, lemon, white chocolate
There will also be lots of great coffee, @_kwangho_lee knotted chairs (currently exhibited at SKWAT) to sit on and happy people around, all day long.

My friend paul (@begia__ ) and i are working on a little project and need your help. We are looking for imagery (taken by you or found elsewhere (archive imagery, scans, books, etc.)) of things that have been repaired, reinterpreted, rebuilt and/or adapted in curious ways. They could be objects or situations found in people’s homes, workplaces or out in public (anywhere, really). We are interested in moments when things are used for purposes not perhaps originally intended for.
We are thinking of the imagery gathered as a prelude to another project that is still in the works and hoping to use a selection of them to print some ephemera.
Please spread the word and send us what you find (with notes, credits or a story to go with it if applicable) to weliveonasunday@gmail.com with the subject “vernacular?”. If you would like to know more about the project, feel free to get in touch too, here or via email : )
