This week, we focus on neck fitting — one of the most critical steps in the build process. The neck heel is precisely shaped to match the body’s mortise, creating a tight, gap-free, and aligned joint.

This is happening on various USA acoustics, including an M-20 and an F-512.

This week, we give you an insight into the finishing and painting — the stage where the guitar’s vision truly comes to life. The process involves preparing the wood, applying stain or paint, and sealing it with protective clear coats to achieve a smooth, durable, and aesthetic finish.

In this video, you’ll see a beautiful burst finish being applied to both a dreadnought and a jumbo-style acoustic.

This week, we dive into body assembly and binding. Watch as the top is joined to the body using glue and a press, forming the core structure of the guitar.

Next comes binding — the outer edge where the top and back meet the sides is carefully routed and fitted with binding, helping to protect the exposed end grain.
