DITZ (UK) LIVE IN THESSALONIKI!

+ Grim Puppet

Το συγκρότημα από το Brighton, οι DITZ, επιστρέφει στην Θεσσαλονίκη, μετά από τη συγκλονιστική τους εμφάνιση τον περασμένο Απρίλιο, έτοιμοι να προσφέρουν ένα ωμό, εκρηκτικό live, που θα καθηλώσει το θερμό κοινό της βρετανικής noise rock και post-punk σκηνής. Μαζί τους, οι Grim Puppet, με ήχο βαρύ, παραμορφωμένο και βαθιά σκοτεινό, έτοιμοι να ρίξουν τη θερμοκρασία πριν την έκρηξη.

Το τελευταίο άλμπουμ τους, Never Exhale, όπως το περιγράφει ο τραγουδιστής C.A. Francis, είναι ένα “λογικό βήμα από το The Great Regression”, το ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ τους που κυκλοφόρησε το 2022. Η νέα αυτή δισκογραφική δουλειά αποτελεί ένα ημερολόγιο ζωής στον δρόμο, με τα περισσότερα κομμάτια να έχουν γραφτεί και προβληθεί κατά τη διάρκεια των περιοδειών τους. “Συχνά χρησιμοποιούσαμε δανεικά στούντιο για πρόβες, ακόμη και από τις μπάντες με τις οποίες παίζαμε την προηγούμενη βραδιά”, αναφέρει ο Francis. “Το επόμενο βράδυ πιθανότατα παίζαμε το ολοκαίνουργιο κομμάτι ζωντανά για πρώτη φορά.”

Η ενέργεια και η επιβλητική σκηνική παρουσία των DITZ υπόσχονται να προσφέρουν ένα καθηλωτικό θέαμα, με κομμάτια όπως το νέο single Space/Smile, ένα τραγούδι που “ξεφεύγει από τις δυναμικές αλλαγές για να δημιουργήσει κλιμάκωση”, όπως εξηγεί ο Francis. Παρά τη σύντομη διάρκεια του, που δεν ξεπερνά τα δύο λεπτά, το Space/Smile αποδεικνύει πως η μπάντα δεν παύει να πειραματίζεται, προσθέτοντας νέα στοιχεία στην ήδη αναγνωρίσιμη ταυτότητά τους.

Αυτή η συναυλιακή εμπειρία είναι μία μοναδική ευκαιρία να δείτε από κοντά ένα από τα πιο ενδιαφέροντα ονόματα της σύγχρονης βρετανικής σκηνής, με τον δυναμισμό, το θόρυβο και την καλλιτεχνική ένταση να βρίσκονται στο επίκεντρο της εμφάνισής τους.

Οι DITZ δεν σταματούν ποτέ – όσοι το χάσατε την προηγούμενη φορά, ΜΗΝ κάνετε το ίδιο λάθος.
