GB is an artist from Copenhagen who crafts texture-heavy, adventurous guitar music cut with a pop sensibility. His debut record, the collage-based cult hit Gusse Music, which was released via storied CPH label Posh Isolation in 2024 – the final vinyl LP the label issued before they closed down. Carla dal Forno is an Australian composer, songwriter and producer based in Castlemaine, Victoria. Working between post-punk minimalism, experimental pop and atmospheric electronics, she has built a dedicated international following through a series of acclaimed releases and extensive touring across Europe and North America.

Her albums have been praised by outlets including Pitchfork, The Quietus and Resident Advisor, alongside airplay on BBC Radio 6 Music. Beyond her recorded work, dal Forno hosts a monthly radio program on NTS Radio, where she curates eclectic selections spanning experimental electronics, dub, post-punk and leftfield pop - offering insight into the wide-ranging influences that inform her own practice.

Her fourth studio album, Confession, expands her signature sound while maintaining the minimal, immersive qualities that have defined her work to date. On stage, dal Forno delivers a focused and atmospheric set that moves between brooding electronics and melodic immediacy - a performance that is both restrained and quietly powerful.

LOW TICKET WARNING: Lorelle Meets The Obsolete's show at YES next Friday 8th May is selling fast!

Dear friends of Grey Lantern - and one of the first bands we ever put on from outside the UK - the Guadalajara-formed and Ensenada, Baja California-based Lorelle Meets The Obsolete formed in 2011 around the core duo of Lorena Quintanilla and Alberto González. They quickly caught the attention of the psych scene with their first two albums, On Welfare and
Corruptible Faces.

Since signing with UK label Sonic Cathedral in 2013, the band has toured extensively across Mexico, the UK, Europe, and the US. Over the past decade, their sound has gradually evolved from its psychedelic roots toward a more exploratory direction, incorporating analog synths and sonic search reminiscent of bands like Wire. This progression is evident across albums such as Chambers, Balance, De Facto, and Datura. Along the way, they’ve collaborated with artists like Emma Anderson (Lush), Dälek, and Pye Corner Audio, and have earned fans in the likes of Henry Rollins and Iggy Pop.

Nashpaints is a musician from Dublin making and performing music in a broad variety of styles linked by a love of heavy atmospheres. He was a member of the band PRINC€SS. His second solo album “Everyone Good Is Called Molly “was released in February 2026 via MirrorWorld.

Henry Earnest is a producer and songwriter from Dublin. Following their debut album "Dream River" as well as recent activity as a member of Princ€ss (wherethetimegoes) and production on Maria Somerville's "Luster" (4AD), "Big Blue" was released through MirrorWorld in 2024 which saw them continue to explore their love of experimental pop-music.

JUST ANNOUNCED: On the day of the release of their self-titled debut LP, we're excited to announce My New Band Believe make their (and our!) debut at Golden Lion in Todmorden on October 21st!

My New Band Believe is the new project of former bassist and sometime frontman of black midi, Cameron Picton. When the group called it quits in 2023, the artist didn’t immediately feel like making a solo record or jumping back into another band. It was from this position of a not-quite team player, not-quite bandleader that Picton entered the studio and the seeds of My New Band Believe gradually began to
emerge.

The group’s debut is a massive and hallucinatory record. It is a collection of music that swerves through wildly different emotional and thematic registers, all the while unraveling an endlessly compelling thread of dream logic. Picton is an unreliable but charismatic narrator, and together with a cast of all-star players including Kiran Leonard, Caius Williams, Steve Noble, Andrew Cheetham, he guides the listener through a rapidly unfolding multiverse of the band’s making. With My New Band Believe, he not only comes into his own as a bandleader but arranges conflicting, fragmentary, and hysterical ideas until they form a brilliant new kind of sense.

The Irish blackened-deconstructed-folk act is the project of founding Lankum member Ian Lynch and veteran noise monger George Brennan, and they return with their new album, CRONE, out on AD 93.

CRONE is the second album from Lynch and Brennan, following on from 2022’s slowburn slab of ambient grit, …And Take The Black Worm With Me. Bewildering, psychedelic and ultimately transcendental, the four tracks of One Leg One Eye’s CRONE shapeshift and morph endlessly in a coarse miasma. Traditional song structures and vocal melody are eschewed, instead the trio directly channel energies from the rich seams of mythological significance submerged below the Irish psyche. The anger, rage and beauty of the sovereignty goddess burn a consistent and deliberate line through the album in the form of obscure incantations and dire pronouncements, the gnarled sinews that bind it all together.
