We recently headed out with the incredible team at @kynren to capture the magic of their performance. A production of this scale demanded a truly cinematic approach, and thanks to the world-class performers, the raw footage was just as stunning as the final edit.

The project definitely had its challenges, but the crew came together beautifully to produce an epic promo we’re stoked to finally share. ⚔️

Thanks to virtual production, our client now has their own custom studio created in Unreal Engine, tailored specifically for this project. They can use it anytime they want!

Once the new product is ready to launch, their studio will be prepared and waiting!

Ai back drops 😱

At the moment Ai isn’t playing a major part in environments or scenes for the virtual production approach, because unreal engine scenes are so complex and Ai struggles with a details 2D scene still!

But 2D static scenes still have their place in the world, #interviews , #elearning, #talkingheads and fast paced #socialads are all things that could benefit from the approach of static ai backdrops.

But lighting the scene is still crucial to making the ai backdrops come to life, the @blackmagicnewsofficial #ultimatte allows us to put the live backdrop on a large screen in the studio and then we light it was the @nanlite_global #pavoslim240b and it gives us absolutely control on how we need the light, especially between hard and soft lighting.

Outdoor lit scenes with sun can be really difficult to replicate on greenscreen because of the light spilling onto the greenscreen itself.

@nanlite_global lights have really allowed us to holm in on getting it close to being perfect. Their Pavo slim 240b has a quick setup time and comes with the grid and power unit for adjustable power for warm or cool tones 😎
