The SOHO restaurant is located on the ground floor of the Promenáda shopping center in Nitra, oriented toward the riverside pedestrian zone. The location naturally connects the interior with the exterior, creating a vibrant urban environment with an emphasis on interaction with the promenade and public space. The entrance to the restaurant is situated on the shorter side of the floor plan directly from the shopping center, while the interior gradually opens toward the glazed façades and the riverfront, which also provides an additional access point.

The apartment, located in the Čerešne residential complex in Bratislava, came with a predefined layout and existing wooden flooring, both of which we chose to preserve. However, the entrance area felt narrow and dim, prompting a reconfiguration of the utility room. By introducing a semi-transparent glass wall set at a subtle angle, we addressed two issues at once — bringing more space and daylight into the hallway while visually expanding the living area. The intervention also functions as a lightbox, diffusing soft ambient light into the corridor.
