Weeks of planning and preparation on my side. When I arrived at the O2 all was good or so I thought. When I was meant to go on stage and go to the entrance section the security wouldnβt let me on.
They said that too many people had come through and I donβt have the right accreditation. There were other team members of opposing teams telling them that Iβm an artist and Iβm meant to be on.
They werenβt budging and continued to tell me to call my artist rep. I tried a few times but realised that there was no reception.
I even told them to escort me to the stage and they can see for themselves but these lot were just destined to be difficult.
Anyway whilst the back and forth was taking place I just heard βMan ah said show meβ and the crowd. My heart sank and I just went home.
To this day that moment has always felt like an L and whenever someone tags me in the clip with Team UKG going mad to Migraine Skank I never repost it.
It always felt like a missed opportunity for me to elevate further in my musical journey. So best believe when @spiceofficial @rampagesound and @djmakten called me and said we want to get you involved I took that chance with open arms.
I actually had to sit down and just give God praise and really take in the moment. In this life you got to take the rough with the smooth and stay active despite losses because they are actually lessons.
Keep reinventing yourself, stay about and do your thing because you never know who is watching. If I let that situation throw me and I went missing I might not have been in the minds of people to give a call up.
