Ive had this idea for a min where i figured i could create a play piercing with custom bent needles that would be able to house candle sticks creating a sort of ring of fire and @gorhors was crazy enough to help me make that idea come to life 🔥 i created a bunch of holes in the bottom of a bunch of candles using an 18g needle blank so they would slip onto the needles easily while we set up everything. This was definitely one of the coolest sets ive ever gotten to do with so many moving parts we had sooo much fun throughout the whole session, super greatful to get to create with the coolest artist friends/ clients all the time xx 🖤

i first came up with this whole concept as i was texting my crush, describing to her how beautiful she is, inside and out, and how i could just compose a whole zine abt it! the zine started off as just what it is to have a crush, what that all entails, how it all manifests. but it quickly turned into something more meaningful, something that i didn’t know my heart needed in order to heal, something my mind needed in order to stay sane from not being able to see my beloved irl often (yet :3c) i was able to transform my pleasure, infatuation, and yearning into a visual and interactive concept for those who Feel more intensely than the average
