Well, hello there! We’re officially a month old, and what a month it has been! There was nothing ‘soft’ about our opening and we are so grateful for all the support and excitement for our new place. It’s been a true joy to welcome so many familiar faces, along with lots and lots of new ones. We are still learning and improving every day, but we’re really proud of what we’ve accomplished so far. Can’t wait to continue to expand our offerings and bring more joy to the table. Just wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude and remind everybody that this is just the beginning! We’ll see you soon!

What a difference a few months makes! This video was shot back in January, and it’s hard to believe how much was accomplished in that stretch of time. We’re so grateful for all the love over the last week. RIGHT BACK ATCHA, OLYMPIA! 😘😘😘

We’re back at it today, with a LOT more food to sell, so hopefully we can keep up with y’all’s appetites! We’re still putting the finishing touches on the whole operation, finalizing website, tweaking recipes, etc so thanks for your patience while we get our feet on the ground and figure out how best to serve you all!

For the time being, we’ve decided that a break in the middle of the day is pretty necessary for us to prepare for dinner service.We will be open 11-2:30, and 4:00-8:00 Wed-Sun. We would love to expand those hours eventually, but it will likely take some time to get our bearings.

Caught up with Elise, on Gold Standard’s opening day to ask her how it’s going, her recommended order, and she wanted to thank the Oly community for showing up and supporting

Gold Standard opens this Wednesday, April 15

Elise and Adam are the duo behind downtown’s newest restaurant, Gold Standard. You might know them from Chicory. They’re still downtown, still committed to local food, and still making tasty treats.

Gold Standard will be a counter-service restaurant, focusing on fried chicken, and a lunch menu to start.

Future plans include an expanded menu to include breakfast and dinner, possible fancier things like a supper club or events, and more.
