“Flowers for St. George” (2024) is going_sumwhere’s first ever solo release project. 8 beats, 19 minutes and 29 seconds. This project is to be looked at as a
‘pause’ in the everyday insular experience that is our lives; a zoomed out, bigger picture look at everything we are and have been. Metaphorically speaking, the album is about a sense of self and development as it relates to my life. Musically speaking, these beats all sat on my computer until I gained some perspective and allowed myself to give flowers to them…
