Late on posting this but the gents in @ohtband released the full “Liminal” EP along with the instrumentals the other week. We spent a lot of time during the pandemic dialing in the general concept of “Liminality” and feelings that embodied uncertainty, tension during transitionary periods, disorientation with aging… there’s a lot of ear candy we tried to personify that was a lot of fun 🤘

Stoked to be working with one of my favorite bands ever. I always appreciate their art.

Newest @lombardy_band single is out today and probably my favorite from the new batch of tunes? Tune is perfect for this time of year, song hits me in all the right feels.

Heading into Fall early- I love our basement 🙂 @glower.studios @philipshue

A little look into some of the production backdrop to the new @ohtband EP- building upon complexities of nostalgia, memories, relics of a potential future from the past- “liminal spaces” I created a hazy, early digital-like backdrop for most the record. I largely built around main core elements @kurtwubbenhorst and the boys gave me and enhanced them through guitar pedals, some handmade samples, some not, a lot of @aberrantdsp @valhalladsp plugins as well, honestly whatever gets the job done. The “digital rain” i recorded outside of @glower.studios and ran through various early 00’s filters which was super fun.

Feel free to reach out if you’re looking for a hand on your sound design/production, I love creating an aesthetic with intention for tunes.

I’ll go into more detail with each song in due time, thanks for hangin!

The first @lombardy_band single is out today! Really dope team on this one, infinitely grateful these guys took a chance with me. Tracked beautifully by @trentwoodman_music at @eastirisstudios with @uncle_sethro producing this was a blast to work on. I love hearing bands cut the main basics live together, we tried to embrace that energy here.

“Lookout” by @goodtealhc has a lot of layers and ear candy under the main driving vehicle that I love uncovering from repeated listens. We used a combination of fx from the pre pro @_cu.rt__ designed along with layers the band and myself created together in the studio in post. I believe the magic of this comes together when we all share our individual personalities in what becomes a GT record 🍻

I’ve always loved records that reward you for repeated listens in its textures and atmosphere. @regkmason brought a lot of depth to this punchy single with his message. Grateful to help highlight these moments with these dudes, a lot more to come!
