‘Hey Kid’ follows Steve Milum’s journey from urban entrapment back to wilderness freedom, touching on themes of grief, adventure, loss, and rediscovery.
This was such a rewarding project to be part of. Prince Rupert gave us some stunning backdrops, and Steve brought so much authenticity to the screen. He’s as genuine as they come, and I’m honoured to have played a role in telling his story.

Hey Kid, featuring Steve Milum and directed by @kdanielstark, has officially wrapped its festival run. It screened across the United States at the @vahna.moto Film Fest, in the UK at the @advmotofilmfest, and across Canada at @themotorcyclefilmfest.
Proud to share that the film won Best Short Film at both the ADV Moto Film Fest and the TMFF Motorcycle Film Festival, and was named Overall Winner at the VAHNA Motorcycle Film Festival.
