BLUEPRINT IS BACK

We are back at the Middle East Corner covering for @the_phibonacci_sequence. Although Garage Sale is taking a short break next month, we are keeping the spirit alive with a 100% wax 2-Step and Garage night.

So glad to finally have the @jam2_operation.underground on our lineup for Blueprint. He brings a skill set that spans from hip hop in his home town of New York all the way to modern bass, dubstep and footwork.

Jam-2 has been a supporter of the UK Garage, 140/Dubstep and Bass Music scene since the origins of the genres.His events, Runnin, Lively, Bassic, and Operation Underground were some of the first and few that were pushing the sound. His connection to the New England House Music and Drum & Bass communities are equally deep. After an extended hiatus away from nightlife, Jam-2 returned to his UK Garage & 2step roots, while also spreading the sounds of Chicago Footwork, Juke, 160, Classic Dubstep and other mutations of BASS music throughout the northeast.

The Dubplate Don @glassguts is back to cause more chaos. Last year he pulled off on of my favorite 2-step sets I think I've ever heard. This guy does not hold back and I know he'll be bringing that energy again for us. Not only is Eric returning for blueprint, this is also a call back to one of his first public performances alongside Jam-2 in the early aughts.

I'll be splitting the difference bouncing between modern speed garage and some classic 2-step bangers.

DJ and underground music enthusiast Glass Guts has spent the last few years re-introducing himself behind the decks in his hometown of Boston, but those who have been a part of the scene here long enough know that he’s no stranger to the 1s and 2s. With his residency with AboveGround, he has been able to serve a wide variety of dance music to local dance floors with sincerity and joy. Whether its sharing long-lost 2-step white labels or stacking Club music bangers, he is just happy to share. He’s excited to contribute to this event to raise funds for those affected in Palestine.

Brian Seacrest:

Brian Seacrest is AboveGround’s newest resident whose sound revolves around House and Garage, Old or New. He’s a rare breed of an artist who’s talented as both a music producer and a DJ. His bag of music on the decks ranges from genres like 2-Step and Speed Garage (he's a huge fan of shuffling/fluttery snares) to Funky, and even Club or Bass music. His sets bring these genres together effortlessly and really demonstrates his love and knowledge of dance music from around the world.
