Most people don’t understand what it takes to take good photographs, how you see things, how composition makes a huge difference in how a picture affects you, how depth, light and color grading can change a subject completely. So next time, take the compliment and let them know calmly that it’s the person who creates the photograph. Somehow, all my cameras take good pictures! 😄

I always thought I wasn’t brave enough. Then I took a three-month solo trip through the U.S. at 23 🙌

All I knew was that I wanted to go to California. After spending a few days at a friends’ place in Indianapolis I landed at LAX, got my rental car and had to navigate through the most insane rush hour madness to get to my first Airbnb in Dana Point.

I was scared, unsure, and far from fearless but I went anyway. Looking back, that decision and what happened during my trip changed how I see myself forever.
