HNGTR FEEDBACK MEDITATION
duo Jaguar guitars
stacked octave fuzzes
some reverberation
no loops, no delays (that's cheating)

The sound of...
a brand new electric guitar being unboxed, amplified, and dismantled with power/hand tools filtered thru pedals and contact mic'd metal pans.
This is how we initiated The 10th Guitar Worship Service.
Full quality recording via the bandcamper.
Shit gets intense 'round 03:35.

At the altar, pt. 2...
What cannot be photographed when one fixates front and center of a sound bath performance, is the intense vibrations of sonic winds emitted from partitions of amplifiers created by guitar artists who fine-tune frequencies so precisely as to not obliterate the listener's ears... or at least for too long.
Healing follows if not immediately.
Ultimately the experience is refreshing.
What can be photographed is an intimate perspective at the altar.
Having seen sunn from front row balconies at numerous venues, I've always peered on those at the altar who are surely experiencing an intense A/V dimension.
For the first time at the altar, I chose to seize several images throughout the set.
Presented here is not that of a professional photographer.
There was no ambition to capture that perfect digital shot for a paper, a blog, a post, or developed physical prints.
Besides I don't possess or want a camera that of a specialist.
Rather these are optical offerings on what it is to be opposite stage lights and face against a wall of fog.
Clear and cloudy and blurry and abstract... here are frames at the altar.
📷 2009 digital Samsung SL605
Straight, no filter, as-is, raw visuals.
Photos arranged in sequence of performance.
Many more to be posted.
