Affordable Tokyo Rec for groups! Great vibes, perks, rooms can fit a handful of people, & perfectly situated in Asakusa!!

Highlights: ONSENS, MASSAGE CHAIR, FREE ICE CREAM, FREE MIDNIGHT RAMEN, SHOE-FREE HOTEL, ELEMENTS OF TRADITIONAL RYOKAN, AMAZING NEIGHBORHOOD

Notes: it kind of gives the vibe of a hostel for some reason & beds weren’t the MOST comfortable, but room was spacious for SURE & we were exploring most of the day SO just needed place to unwind & relax!

TIPS FOR GINZA TOKYO CUSTOMIZED ONITSUKA TIGERS in 2026

0) Make sure you’re going to the right store!! Red Concept no longer does it - head to Orange
1) Go early - reccomend getting there before 10am
2) Once you get a number link it on your phone - feel free to go to a cafe until they email you it’s your turn // your queue number starts approaching
3) know what pairs you want ahead of time + have a backup incase they’re out of your size!!
4) Have someone in your group get in line as soon as you get upstairs to ensure you can embroider
5) Know what you want embroidered so you don’t experience decision anxiety like me
6) They are sometimes understaffed so be patient and kind!!

Time Stamps

9:40am arrive at Red Concept Store
10:05am Make it to correct store
10:25am got our group ticket & went for matcha
11am Store opens!!
11:05am headed back to wait outside cause didn’t know how fast groups would get called
12:35pm our group was called in!
1:30pm customized
5:30-8pm Pickup Window
7:30pm got to store to pickup
7:35pm picked up!
7:36pm changed into them and haven’t taken off since
