In Amandaland (series 2 even funnier than the first), #LucyPunch has created one of TV’s great tragi-comic grotesques, with flawless timing and every word a gem. It was a delight to chat to her.

What’s even lovelier is that I have had the pleasure of working with (and in some instance proud to call some of them my proper buddies) with each and every one of these terrific actors (bar two). 10 years ago today, and it’s like chatting with Nana. “Technology!” What a sweet simpleton that writer was… hope the ensuing decade didn’t ruin her world of wonder.

Only when we sat down in our seats did we realise that neither of us had ever seen one episode of @peakyblinders - turned out it didn’t matter. #PeakyBlindersfilm was an escapist joy from start to finish. Barry Keoghan for Bond!

As well as all the protagonists’ tunes, the interval music (Pulp, Franz Ferdinand) is like being hoovered backwards into the time vortex… #oasis #blur #britpop
