All Free Library locations will close at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22, and will remain closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.
Library locations with Saturday hours will be opened as scheduled and regular hours will resume at all locations On Tuesday, May 26.

In our next stop on American Stories: A Reading Road Trip, we look at the legacies of Pennsylvania icons like Mister Rogers and Benjamin Franklin. We also explore libraries like Free Library of Philadelphia and James V. Brown Library, along with historic literary landmarks like August Wilson House, The Rosenbach, and Giovanni’s Room.
