Chris Smalls proved what happens when workers stop staying quiet and start organising.

One person standing up to a trillion-dollar machine became a movement powered by solidarity, pressure and collective action.

Real change never comes from waiting around for permission. It comes from people willing to push back together.

Back in 2013, Bryan Cranston pulled off one of the greatest Comic-Con pranks ever.

Wearing an ultra realistic Walter White mask, Cranston walked the San Diego Comic-Con floor completely unnoticed, blending in with fans while taking selfies and roaming the event like a regular attendee.

The perfect reveal came during the Breaking Bad panel when he finally removed the mask… exposing that Heisenberg had been hiding in plain sight the entire time.

Michael Jordan’s gambling habits became a huge part of his public image in the early ’90s. Former teammates claimed Jordan would even play rock paper scissors for up to $100,000 after games.

Jordan denied having a gambling addiction, famously saying it was “a competition problem,” not a gambling problem. The NBA later investigated and found no evidence that he ever bet on basketball.

In August 1974, just after finishing work on Walls and Bridges, John Lennon claimed he witnessed a UFO hovering outside his New York penthouse.

Lennon and May Pang described the object as a silent saucer-shaped craft with flashing white lights circling its edge and a solid red light glowing on top. According to Lennon, it was close enough to clearly rule out helicopters or weather balloons — mainly because there was absolutely no sound coming from it.

He later immortalised the sighting in the liner notes of Walls and Bridges, writing by hand:

“On the 23rd Aug. 1974 at 9 o’clock I saw a U.F.O. – J.L.”

Lennon would reference the encounter again years later in Nobody Told Me, singing about “UFOs over New York.”

The footage in this post was filmed on April 4, 1975, at Lennon’s Sutton Place apartment in NYC as part of an outtake for the French TV program Un Jour Future.
