This National Volunteer Week, we’re celebrating the incredible contribution of our Tenant and Resident Committee members. The people who help shape stronger, more connected communities across Foundation Housing.

This year’s theme, “Your Year to Volunteer,” is a reminder that volunteering can take many forms: from sharing ideas and advocating for others, to helping organise activities, welcoming neighbours, and creating spaces where people feel heard and supported.

We’re pleased to share some exciting news for Broome Lodge residents 💛

Foundation Housing has received funding from the WA Government to upgrade all 55 homes at Broome Lodge.

These works will include improvements to kitchens and bathrooms, painting, outdoor areas and safety upgrades - all aimed at making homes more comfortable, accessible and safe.

We know your home matters, and this investment is about making sure Broome Lodge continues to be a place you feel proud to live.

Works will begin soon, and we’ll keep you updated every step of the way to make sure disruption is kept to a minimum.

Important update for Foundation Housing tenants

From 1 April 2026, tenants will need to set up and manage Centrepay payments directly with Centrelink.

This means Foundation Housing will no longer be able to set up or change Centrepay deductions on behalf of tenants.

Centrepay is still available, and our team is here to help you understand how to manage your payments if needed.

You can manage your Centrepay by:
• Logging into your myGov account
• Calling Centrelink on 1800 044 063
• Visiting a Services Australia service centre
