シリーズ第1回となる東京でのパーティには、ロンドンのアンダーグラウンド・クラブシーンで活躍してきた @0208akito を迎えます。彼は私たちが長年プレイし、広めてきたサウンドの重要な担い手であり、現在は大阪を拠点にDJ活動や世界的に知られるNTSラジオでの番組など、現場の最前線で活動を続けています。
FORWARD TRANSITION TOKYO OPENING NIGHT
Belgrade, Serbia, home of one of Europe’s most unique club scenes is having one of its club nights move permanently to Tokyo.
Founded by original members of the @mysticstylez_ collective, responsible for some of the most forward thinking parties in Serbia between 2011 and 2021, Forward Transition has been an offshoot club night focused on the raw, strict club sounds of bass, jungle, gqom, footwork, and everything in between that hits the body directly on the floor.
With @jackiedagger and @think_dammit now both living and working in Tokyo, it only made sense to bring over the club night too, and share with the local crowd the style and vibe of how people party in Belgrade.
For the first Tokyo based party in our series, we’re bringing @0208akito , the don of London’s underground club scene, directly responsible for the exact sounds we have been playing and promoting for years, currently based in Osaka where he is still active DJing and hosting his show on the well known NTS radio.
