Here’s a glimpse of what it was like to be in the room for β€œChristmas in Boston 2”. I think this clip represents well what Matty did this past month, and why he did it. Ultimately this was all way bigger than us, and I hope you can feel that through the screen.

It’s been an honor and blessing to bare witness to the incredible artists of Boston this past month, so thank you all for allowing me to be in your space and capture these moments. Thank you also to @risestudiosboston for providing the space to make this all possible. This clip is one of many, way more than I can remember…

To witness and be involved in a project such as this, 64 songs in 25 days with 80+ artists from in and around the city… it’s special beyond words.

Through this project, for me, one of the goals was/is to highlight the under appreciated artistry that exists here in Boston.

I started shooting shows in Boston back in 2018, and I’ve been invested in the local music scene and community here ever since.

Through CIB2 I got to meet so many new people, connect with old friends, and rediscover lost connections (it turns out Dion and I went to elementary school together πŸ₯²).

Anyways, Matty you are a true inspiration, friend, community member, and magician. The work continues.
