Out Now! Via @thenewbmg - "Into Oblivion" is the new album from original Black Metal legends @venom_band_official and according to @kerrangmagazine_ is "the best thing to bear the Venom name since the ’80s."

It was particularly fun for mastering engineer @nickwatson_me to work once again with the album's mix engineer @_olimorgan_ , himself a member of the Fluid Mastering family having cut his teeth with us back in the day before a stint at Abbey Road. Oli has since co-founded a new mastering facility @newground.audio

Celebrate It Together is a 40 year career retrospective anthology covering @thehowardjonesoutput from "New Song" onwards. Featuring songs personally selected and sequenced by Howard, the compilation was an opportunity for @nickwatson_meto draw from his remasters of the original Warner era catalogue, placing them alongside newly mastered and remastered tracks from Howard's own Dtox label.

Released a couple of years back, the 4CD edition is currently out of stock but the 2CD version is available on @cherryredrecords (and you can buy direct from their store if you'd rather not line the pockets of a giant corporation).

Out Today! @jethrotull_ 's "Unwrapped" edition of 1984's Under Wraps album is a six-disc set, featuring newly remixed versions of both Under Wraps and Ian Anderson's contemporaneous solo release "Walk Into Light", as well as plenty of bonus tracks, a live concert, and immersive content on Blu-Ray.

In its original form, Under Wraps was a somewhat controversial release, featuring not only synthesisers and drum machines, but also a mix that put the drums very much to the fore.

For this new edition, the original drum sounds have been replaced with more natural sounding samples, and more importantly the mix is far more musical - in fact new mixes of both albums with the original drum sounds are also included, and sound great too.

The new mixes are by Bruce Soord (@bsoord), and stereo mastering is by @nickwatson_meat Fluid Mastering. Out now via @parlophone , and also available on vinyl.

Out Now: @vulvavoce is a band that looks like a string quartet but loves to break the conventions that come with the format. The new single "Flotterstone" is their ode to the great outdoors; the healing power of nature in dark and stressful times - and couldn't be more timely. While this genre-defying all-female band take influences from classical through to techno, funk, jazz and beyond, the mood on the new single is distinctly folky, with pastoral strings giving way to a lovely a capella section.

Autoleisureland is a project by David Brewis and Paul Woods, two founding members ofsuccessful and highly-acclaimed British 80s hitmakers @thekanegang

Woods and Brewis are part of the trio, also featuring their friend Martin Brammer, they notched several British and European hits, including Closest Thing To Heaven, Respect Yourself and Gun Law, also scoring a US Top 40 pop hit with Motortown,and a US dance No 1 with Don’t Look Any Further.

Vocalist Paul and multi-instrumentalist David built up a loyal following with their debut album Infiniti Drive and now they have announced their sophomore effort New Road Movie, which is set for release in 2026 on the esteemed Last Night From Glasgow label.

The single All The World Over was inspired by Italian musicians who performed on balconies to raise spirits during the Covid lockdown, and showcases the duo's brand of sophistipop and their way with a killer chorus.
