"Over the past 8 years that I have been a DJ, I have never put out a solo mix of my own. I've always been very critical of myself when it comes to recording a set or a session, and I just haven't ever felt satisfied enough with anything I've recorded to submit it anywhere. However, this recent mix (taken from our latest Flowstate outing in May) feels different.

Everything about this mix encapsulates what I love about all the various shades of contemporary techno. Dark, groovy, sexy & hypnotic - and all at a pace that the whole room could rock too! In December 2021, three close friends from Sacramento envisioned an event that would fully encapsulate their love for cutting edge techno while also bridging the gap between their neighboring communities in Northern California. Now, three years & 13 gatherings later, we are ecstatic to celebrate our upcoming anniversary in a venue we can truly call home with DC's favorite Chicago transplant, @that_juana 💫

The Midwest native needs little to no introduction, having cut her teeth in the early 2000's between Chicago, DC, Baltimore and beyond. She has picked up a significant amount of velocity in recent years through her residencies with DC's @party_at_noxys & NYC's @fuckunter, and has now been featured as a prominent force at just about every noteworthy techno club you could imagine. We had the absolute pleasure of catching her close at the legendary Brooklyn after hours party @lockedgroovebk back in 2022, and ever since then it's been a mission of ours to bring her down to California's capital city. We're pleased to say that it's finally time for this dream to come to fruition 💞
