My advise to all those getting married. Go with your gut! Trust yourself and do what makes you happy, and try to drown out all the outside noise and second guessing. And TRUST YOUR FLORIST TEAM! They know how to execute!

Hello Flower Friends!

I’m Brenna - the face, hands and mind behind Floret Design Studio. A few fun facts:

🎨 My background is in Visual Communication with a degree from FIDM - San Francisco, CA.
🌷I began my floral design journey at Ketchum Flower Co in 2011, however growing up a gardening mother and running around the mountains here in Idaho, I have been a flower nerd since I was little
🌈 I love playing with color and texture and exploring new designs
🚐 I owned a traveling boutique in an airstream I renovated called @the_mobo for 5 years
🏔️ I love mountain biking in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter
😆 I have uncontrollable, over exaggerated gasps for all things good or bad, which constantly freaks out my team. Could be a beautiful flower moment, or could have cut my finger haha you just never know
🏝️ My ideal vacation spot in the off season is with Baja, Mexico or Hawaii. Just give me a beach
👋 Our shop is located in Ketchum, ID - come say anytime I’m almost always there except on weekends

Bridal bouquets are often the most stressful and daunting designs for a wedding. They are so important and special. Taking this time at Emily’s Chateau in Belgium and learning so much from her on technique,
color, shape and design made me fall in love with making bridal bouquets all over again 🌿

We started in the morning harvesting our flowers, finding inspiration, watching Emily design and then spending the afternoon amongst other flowers just getting to design and create.

I went to the studio in the morning of our wedding to take some time for just me with the flowers. I love how she turned out. The whole wedding was so funky and fun and vibrant so I knew I wanted my bouquet to feel more simple, elegant and understated. And I had to have the cymbidum orchids, they had the same iridescent shine to them as my dress - it was just too perfect.

I often like to add in all the flowers I can because I can’t ever seem to choose, but with bouquets - sometimes less is more 💞
