„Tod Meiner Jugend“ („Death of My Youth“) is based on the true story of Kai Peter, who experienced sexualized violence repeatedly during his childhood and youth. Now living in Alstätte, Peter has chosen to bring his story to the public to raise awareness about such issues and advocate for changes, such as the removal of statutes of limitations for these crimes. The film aims to encourage other victims to speak out and overcome their shame.
The Film is based on the upcoming book and biography.
The script has been written by Daniel Jaro, Sophie Reyer and Timo Jacobs.
Dramaturgie assistance by Cynthia Buchheim, Daniel Sellier, Kenton Turk
The casting for the film is being handled by @nataschazimmermann_casting in cooperation with Timo Jacobs, who is also directing the film. The project is categorized as a 2024 film, indicating its expected release timeline.
