Sometimes the whole look starts with one thing.

For me, on this day in New York, it was a pair of @oncept.nyc sneakers I discovered through @mvdiego during @floor13tradeshow and @chicagocollective.
It was the anchor for everything else I wore that day.

Coats changed.
Layers changed (obviously I love my layers…haha)
Schedules definitely changed.
But the shoes stayed.

First stop was @jack.sivan’s runway show during the day. A thoughtful take on tailoring and proportion that felt confident and F-ing cool. The kind of work that reminds you that smart tailoring exists. I'm so pumped @ford_general brought them in for wholesale… I wonder who is next? Congrats to Jack, Persephone and the entire team… and @wilfreevasquez for that impeccable Styling.

Later that night the mood shifted at @thenednomad, where @flauntmagazine hosted an evening celebrating @sandroparis.
Dim lights, great clothes everywhere, and people actually talking again.
A taste of that old New York energy, that made me miss my youth and old friends.

And through all the running around the city,
the one constant was those #onceptnyc sneakers.
Stylish, comfortable, and safe to say
a brand that should be on
everyone’s radar.

79 days on the road.

Moving between cities, showrooms, retail floors, long drives and early flights. Some personal moments, but mostly work. The people, the stores, the brands and designers that keep this industry moving forward.

I tried to highlight and tag many of the retailers, designers, and brands I’m lucky to spend time with.

A lot of them are small businesses doing great things, and they deserve our support and attention.

I hope I did a little justice to some of the stores and brands I’ve come to respect and appreciate over these past few months.

A few weeks removed from @grammys weekend and I’m still thinking about it.

Watching someone you care about step onto the biggest stage in music and feel fully themselves… that stays with you.

He walked in confident.
He performed comfortable.
That’s always the goal.

All of it happened in the middle of a snowstorm, Men’s Market, and our tradeshow, @floor13tradeshow.
Racks moving. Steamers going. Calls coming in.
And somehow it all felt aligned.

Because when you love what you do and believe in the person wearing it, it doesn’t feel like work.

As a Filipino immigrant who grew up obsessed with music and style, being behind the scenes, styling such talent for the Grammys, isn’t something I take lightly.
I’m proud of this one.

I never do these speaking segments but i was asked so i figured, why not…🫣

Some of the best partnerships don’t start as partnerships.

I was first introduced to @greatjonesdistillingco while working with Descendant of Thieves.
No pitch. No deck. Just good people, good product, and mutual respect.

That moment turned into conversations.
Conversations turned into trust.
And trust turned into a real partnership.

Today, Great Jones supports @floor13studio from @floor13tradeshow men’s market to @nyfw and beyond…. built the only way I know how: organically.

I’m not the guy who’s going to give you a deep dive on cotton mills or dye houses.
My Adhd and dyslexia cant comprehend that info like others can.

What I know comes from lived experience wins, losses, wrong turns, and starting over.
I appreciate and understand style, I love people, and I’ve learned how to see where a brand belongs before it even gets there.

Floor13 was built for that reason.
To help retailers and emerging brands build something meaningful for their families, their teams, and their future.

Good business.
Good people.
Plain and simple.
