Watch as Hannah gets this Cat® 980 Wheel Loader ready for a tough assignment in a corrosive work environment. From prepping key surfaces to applying protective coatings, every step is focused on ensuring this machine can stand up to the harsh conditions it’s about to face. Corrosive environments can take a serious toll on equipment, so proper preparation is critical to extend service life and reduce downtime. This is where attention to detail makes all the difference and Hannah’s got it covered.

Watch as we assemble this Cat® 990-11 Wheel Loader. Delivered in three separate truckloads, this brand-new machine arrived ready for assembly and testing before heading to its new home.

Weighing in at over 80,000 kg, the 990-11 required a crane to safely position it on blocks for the build. Once fully assembled and tested, it will make its way by barge to Texada Island, where the final preparations will be completed.

From there, it’s straight to work in the quarry moving serious volumes of aggregate and getting the job done.
