During Mental Health Awareness Month, Florida Grand Opera proudly launched Voices of Wellness with an unforgettable evening of music, healing, and community at Opera & All-Stars. ✨

Opera has always been more than a performance — it is human connection, storytelling, and healing through the power of the human voice. Through education, outreach, artist development, and community programming, FGO impacts more than 35,000 individuals each year. With Voices of Wellness, we are expanding that mission beyond the stage to support veterans, active military, first responders, and medical personnel — those who serve our communities every day. ❤️

Willy Chirino took the stage at Opera & All Stars, bringing with him a legacy deeply connected to the cultural identity of Miami and the Cuban American community.

For decades, his voice and music have transcended generations, becoming part of the soundtrack of an entire city through a career built on authenticity, resilience, and connection with the public.

His participation in the evening added another layer to a concert that united opera, popular music, sports, and mental health awareness within the same stage at the Adrienne Arsht Center.

So many incredible acts. So many unforgettable performances.
This is a recap through my eyes of the amazing moments I experienced from the @allstarencore lineup at the @fgopera at the iconic Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.
What stood out most wasn’t just the talent — it was the respect every performer, contributor, and creative had for one another. That energy made the entire experience feel powerful and authentic.
I also had the opportunity to sit in on rehearsals, and I’ll say this… the chemistry felt like a championship team. Everyone moved with purpose, passion, and professionalism to create something truly special.
Can’t wait to see more productions like this continue to grace not only Miami, but the world 🌎✨

Florida Grand Opera invites singers to audition for Auxiliary Chorister positions with the FGO Chorus for the upcoming season. Open to singers who reside in South Florida during the production period.

All voice types will be considered, with particular interest in Altos and Tenors.
