SECONDARY INFERTILITY Q&A SERIES 💛 Part 2 of 9
“When did you realise that something wasn’t right?”
For many people experiencing secondary infertility, there is no single moment when things suddenly feel clear. It can begin with missed expectations, months passing without answers, changes in cycles, pregnancy loss or a growing feeling that conceiving again is not happening as expected.
Secondary infertility is less openly discussed and frequently misunderstood by others.

SECONDARY INFERTILITY Q&A SERIES 💛Part 1 of 9
“What does the journey of secondary infertility actually feel like?”
Secondary infertility is the inability to conceive or carry a pregnancy after previously having a child. Many people struggling with it describe feeling overlooked, misunderstood or unsure if their grief is “valid”.
Alongside fertility treatment, uncertainty and repeated disappointment, many are also navigating parenting, work, financial pressure and the expectation that they should simply feel “grateful” for the child they already have.
In this series, one woman shares her experience of secondary infertility by answering some of the questions that are often left unspoken.

You really don’t need to have lived experience of the topic to enjoy this show. Its previous scratches have been shown to general audiences to enthusiastic feedback:
“Different to anything I’ve ever seen before- a beautiful mix of abstract and direct; movement and stillness. The use of natural imagery made me think about and connect it all, to the Romantic idea of the Natural Sublime- nature as god.. ‘Mother Earth as both nurturing and formidable’,
Emily Gosling, Journalist and Musician
Also exciting to have the talented@lucy_andrina and @sallybutcher doing Q&As (1 on each show)
I want to say a big thank you to @southeastdance for supportive conversations and much needed R&D space, @fertilitynetworkuk for helping publicise the co-creation workshops and who will be in attendance for signposting on the nights of the events. Also huge thanks to @highlandbndry who make delicious nature inspired drinks and have contributed some of their delicious Scot’s pine syrup for the complementary cocktails and mocktails…
And most of all the wonderful people I’ve met and collaborated with through the co-creation workshops.
