New podcast alert….

Currently dealing with a hack at The FP HQ which is why my website is down but the podcast is still available wherever you listen.

If you want to understand more about the name change from PCOS to PMOS and what it means for you - this episode is for you. Former pod host and all round amazing human @katedaviesrn chatted with Professor Helena Teede who was a big driver in the campaign.
Huge thanks to @veritypmos for all your hard work.

If you’re trying to conceive and finding it harder than you ever imagined, please know this… you are never alone over here 🫶

This ⬆️ is a quote from our most recent survey, from someone who attends our groups.

Infertility can feel incredibly isolating. It can leave you carrying so much quietly - the hope, the disappointment, the waiting, the questions no one else seems to understand. Sometimes it can feel like the world keeps moving while you’re standing still, trying to hold yourself together through another month.

That’s why our support spaces exist.

Not as somewhere clinical or intimidating. Not somewhere you have to explain yourself or pretend you’re okay. But somewhere warm, welcoming and understanding - filled with people who truly get it.

We offer:
🤍 TTC Support Groups every Tuesday at 8pm with Katie
🤍 TTC Support Groups every Thursday at 8:30pm with Karen
🤍 A supportive WhatsApp community
🤍 Secondary infertility support
🤍 Life after treatment support
🤍 And soon, new groups including support for navigating loss while TTC
🤍In-person meet ups / walk & talks
🤍Live "ask the expert" Q&A's

Whether you’re at the very beginning of this journey or have been walking it for years, there is a place for you here.

You don’t have to carry this alone anymore.

Sometimes the greatest comfort is simply being in a room - even virtually - with people who understand the things you don’t always have words for.

We’d love to welcome you.

🙌An inspiring day 🫶

Attending and speaking at the Black and Brown Fertility Show was both a privilege and a responsibility.

@katie.rolling5, founder/CEO and @drana.nd Dr Anand Patel from our Advisory Board, both joined some powerful panels.

We were there not only to share insight and advocate for change, but also to actively listen.

The conversations throughout the event reinforced something that should never be overlooked: equity in fertility care is not optional - it is essential.

Black and Brown individuals and families continue to face disproportionate barriers in reproductive healthcare, from access and affordability to representation and outcomes. Being in a room filled with advocates, clinicians, patients, founders, and community leaders made it clear that progress happens when people are willing to have honest conversations and take meaningful action.

We deeply believe in the importance of using positions of leadership to amplify voices, support community-led solutions, and challenge systems that have historically left too many people behind.

Allyship is about showing up consistently, listening carefully, and helping create space for lasting change.

We are so grateful to Stephanie and Beverley & their amazing team at @bandbfamilygroup The Black and Brown Fertility Show for creating such an important platform and for inviting Fertility Action into the conversation. The energy, vulnerability, expertise, and commitment in that space were incredibly powerful and we're looking forward to making these important changes together.

There is still much work to do, but events like this shine a well-overdue light on work that truly matters.

Ever wondered what a charity founder does day to day?

A bloody LOT that’s what @katie.rolling5 talks through in this celebration episode to mark ONE YEAR of @fertility.action as you hear in this clip Katie explaining how she was in a Norway the other week with @fertilityeurope

I’m always bewildered and how much she fits in but that is why the charity is making such significant waves in the work it’s doing at Katie is constantly listening and learning and I hope you plug in your ears to this chat to update yourself on what’s happened with the charity during the last 12 months and what’s to come.

Last night it was briliant to celebrate with Katie and you can hear some of the birthday wishes in next weeks episode 🙏🥂

Listen in your fave podcast app and if you get the chance to send birthday wishes over on their grid - do!! 🎉🎉

Thanks again to our series sponsors @wildnutritionltd

Yesterday marked the start of the 4th @blackbabylossawareness Week, founded by the incredible @midwife_alicia and supported by many amazing grassroots organisations and passionate advocates.

This week is about amplifying the voices of bereaved Black and mixed Black heritage families, whose experiences have too often been unheard, and ensuring they are connected with the support, care, and resources they deserve.

It is a time to recognise the inequities that persist in maternity and reproductive healthcare, to hold compassionate, caring space for lived experiences of loss, and to commit to change that improves outcomes, dignity, and access for all families.

At Fertility Action, we stand in solidarity with this mission and remain committed to advocating for equity across fertility and reproductive care, so that every person and family receives the respect, access, and support they need - without exception.

We are growing into a shape that you've created🫶

You told us a while back that you wanted a space to connect and talk when you are in that incredibly lucky group that get to see the two-pink lines.

Naturally, for many, this stage comes with some really complex feelings and emotions - so we followed your feedback and created this group.

Today the group continues to grow and be a beautiful, compassionate and safe space to share anxieties, thoughts, feelings and feel free-from judgement in a group that truly get it.

So if you are at this point on your family-building pathway and would like to join us, you will always be welcome :)

And for those who are still hoping, we have the trying to conceive group twice each week on Tuesdays @ 8pm, and Thursdays @ 8:30pm.

Link to sign up in our bio or go to fertilityaction.org.

To join our WhatsApp community comment "☕️" or send it as a DM.

We are running a short survey at the moment to gather feedback on how we're doing as a charity and how we could improve the support we offer. Please complete this if you have engaged with our support - we'd love to hear your thoughts 🫶 (link in bio)
