I started working in Cinema 4D back in 2018 while in Tokyo.
Before that, I was a generalist/animator using Maya and Max. It's been a few years since I've tried something new, so I spent the last week attempting some "generic" work-the usual things I do in Cinema 4D-but this time using Blender and Houdini (my last two posts).
These were very simple projects, meant just to see how difficult it would be to transition to a new tool.
Either I am romanticizing the Cinema 4D and Octanelearning experience, or I'm getting too impatient with new Uls and Tutorials.
However, after two days of modeling/ animating in both programs, I have some appreciation for how welcoming C4D is to new users. It was quite a pain to do these last renders.
