Just taking some time off from being super casual to say that I kinda made a documentary about my favourite place in the world…
‘Forty Sixth’, named in honour of Oklahoma’s place as the 46th state; is on the surface, about music in Oklahoma. Really it’s about the people and community that make Oklahoma a place I’m proud to be from.
Extremely excited to share this with everyone, whether you’re from Oklahoma or not. I have so many people to thank, @ryancpark_for being the best cameraman/DOP/everything I could ask for and to @cherrylaurelband and @douglas.band.here for letting me into their worlds. Thank you thank you thank you!!

It is a film project exploring how childhood experiences and past trauma shape bodily alignment, posture, and identity. The body becomes a reflection of emotional memory, revealing how psychological experiences can remain physically embedded over time.
Through different character stylings, postures, and movement directions, I created a series of personalities that represent distinct emotional states and coping mechanisms. Each character expresses trauma differently through physical behavior, spatial movement, and visual appearance.
