After 5 years of being a nomad, living here and there, and almost everywhere, I’ve decided to come back home and move to Bucharest full-time.

It’s been a beautiful and defining chapter of my life, but lately the desire to settle down has become very real. Coming back and being welcomed with a full tour ahead, new and familiar collectives, venues I’m excited to reconnect with, and many reasons to look forward to what’s next.

We welcome @faust.dj today for a live guest mix in the studio. Bucharest-based DJ, event producer, and founder of @sqweez.community, a queer platform built around community and the underground culture, FAUST has become an important figure within the local scene, contributing through both his artistic vision and curatorial work to a more inclusive and diverse electronic music landscape in Eastern Europe.

His sound moves fluidly across different shades of techno and trance, with a strong instinct for reading the room and adapting to the energy of each party and time slot. FAUST always shapes his sets with intention and awareness of the moment.

On Friday, May 22, Control becomes our playground for a collab between ctrl x Sqweez! x @roguepuppetrecords .

Some collectives move on similar frequencies, and over the years we’ve come to understand this is not a one-off, but an ongoing exchange - a bridge between the UK and Romanian scenes, both shaped by multicultural, diverse perspectives and a shared pull towards the underground.

With a lineup leaning into techno in its many shades, we’re welcoming both familiar faces and new energies - choosing hypnotic progression over aggressive drops.
