ezsound speaker build #9 this time it’s another by goat subwoofer designer anders martinsson, the THAM 12, a scaled down version of the first ezclap subwoofer. this one’s loaded with a beautiful italian b&c 12PLB76-8, and goes easily down to 36 hz, with extreme output at ~50hz and up. size and cost wise - this is the best subwoofer you can make on a budget. you’d have to spend more than $2000 to get a sub that gets close to competing. tapped horns are the future for sure!!! this one is rather cowboy style with some free ancient plywood (last slide), but built professionally. the box will surely outlive me.

this show is a debut of 2 massive projects, a pair of ROAR 15 subs that were built for this show, and a restored jbl 2360 cinema horn. this mono stack is being played in conjunction with our classic shure 701 stereo system, and the rather nice in house ceiling system at the contemporary. each system is receiving different music and signals, creating and extremely powerful and immersive body and head feel that makes every location inside the room a delicious new mix of signal. beautiful set design and projections will also be presented by lillian mecca.
