What inspired me most about producing this story was the opportunity to tell it in its most authentic form. Candice (@candicealise) is an incredible artist, entrepreneur, wife to @wilhelmduke , and—most recently—a mother. While sitting down with @candicealise , I learned how deeply she once dreamed of working with @vice . For a long time, every attempt felt like a closed door. But what she didn’t realize then was that her path wasn’t meant to be linear, it was meant to be hers.

Through the undeniable presence she built with @artafterdarkofficial (@artafterdarkwien ), and the unexpected connections formed along the way, the very company she admired ended up finding her.

Her story is a reminder that when you become obsessed with your purpose and pour into your craft, the opportunities you chase often come back to meet you in ways you never saw coming.
