Other Worlds is an invitation to visualize realities beyond the familiar: futuristic, glitch, and analog aesthetics, dream landscapes, alien terrains, digital ecologies, and symbolic moonscapes shaped by memory, invention, hope, and transformation.
We’re looking for artists working in digital art, AI art, moving image, 3D, animation, generative visuals, and experimental storytelling whose work can translate powerfully into an immersive environment. I’m excited to announce an open call for digital artists to be part of Other Worlds, a new immersive experience at Atelier.
This project explores imaginary other worlds and the relationship between humanity and technology as we move through, build, and discover them. I’m looking for artists working in digital art, AI art, moving image, 3D, animation, generative visuals, and experimental storytelling whose work can translate powerfully into an immersive environment.
The experience will unfold across multiple rooms. One room will feature large-scale projection and spatial visuals and installations. A second room includes an inflatable moon, and I’m especially looking for artists whose work can imagine what a sphere or moon surface might become — alien terrain, symbolic portal, living planet, technological relic, or a completely invented world.
Selected works will be adapted into a cohesive immersive installation using projection, light, sound, and atmosphere.
