About Yesterday

It’s been a while I attended something like this and trust me it felt so amazing,insightful, and overwhelming.

Being in a space with my community of actors and fellow colleagues sharing,listening and learning from our role models who have worked so hard to be where they are today is quite different and very impactful.

I had the privilege of attending ANATOMY OF AN ACTOR created by @boluessien and it was a whole experience

Listening to experts in the film industry speak about their journey,their struggles encouraged me to always show up no matter how slow the progress is,just keep going and keep growing

About yesterday…

It’s been a long time since I did something like this, and honestly, it felt so relieving. I didn’t realize how badly I needed to be in a space with my community of actors — sharing, listening, and learning from people who have walked the path I hope to walk.

I had the privilege of attending Bolu Essien’s event, Anatomy of an Actor, and I’m genuinely grateful for the experience.

Listening to some of the experts in the film industry speak about their journeys, struggles, and truths was an eye-opener. It reminded me that growth sometimes starts by simply showing up in the right room and allowing yourself to learn.

Yesterday reminded me why I started — and why I must keep going.
