The Stud, San Francisco’s oldest LGBTQ bar and a historic incubator of boundary-pushing drag, is proud to announce an open call for students to join its inaugural 2027 class of the Stud School of Drag.
The 2026–2027 school year will begin in June with just 15 students selected to study the centuries-old folk art of drag under the guidance of some of the most influential drag performers in San Francisco — completely free of charge.
