BLANK for @lemile
Elderly people grew up in a time that couldn’t be more different from the world we live in
today. Not only has society changed drastically, but digitalization has had a massive
impact on everyday life. I’d go so far as to say: “Elderly people live in a parallel world,
different from ours.”
From their perspective, today’s world can feel abstract - and in many ways, not even
worth adapting to. They witnessed the rise of television, saw the first cell phones
appear, and now we have smartphones that can control nearly every aspect of daily life.
In many ways, society has left these people behind, living in a world that no longer feels
like their own.
With this project, I want to evoke the feeling of not belonging - of being in the wrong
place.
