👉🏽 Our #WordsToWin campaign is back, and this time, we’re focusing on sex workers’ rights.
How we talk about sex work matters. Too often, conversations around it fall back on stigma, misinformation, or “rescue” narratives that ignore the lived realities and rights of sex workers.
WordsToWin is here to change that. It gives you the language that is grounded in evidence and designed to move people without reinforcing harm.
We’re inviting advocates, allies, organisations, and curious minds like you to join us in:
👉🏽challenging harmful narratives that criminalise and marginalise sex workers;
👉🏽shifting conversations from stigma to rights, safety, and dignity;
👉🏽amplifying language that supports decriminalisation of sex work.
💖 Each week, we’ll share simple, effective messages for everyday use. Start where you are. Use these messages in conversations with your friends, family, and community. Follow along for clear, everyday language you can use to talk about sex workers' rights in ways that mobilises support.
Join us. Every conversation you have can help create a world where sex workers are respected, heard and supported.

“Transness needs visibility in a broader context. Economic justice, racial justice, freedom of movement, freedom of expression, and you guessed it, sx workers’ rights and labour rights. Trans people belong in all the conversations about collective liberation.”
Wszebor Sienkiewicz (he/him) - @magnificent.rage, Germany/Poland, Communications Director, ESWA - @eswalliance / @sexworkeurope
The invisible work of being trans happens every day: caring for chosen family, navigating systems, organising communities.
Trans visibility isn’t just one day—it’s every day. We’re making space for these realities to be shared in our own words and on our own terms.
Watch the videos from our community members, trans people across Europe and Central Asia, to hear their stories.
#TDoV #TransDayOfVisibility #TransRights #TransRightsAreHumanRights #TDoV26

Exciting news! Mark your calendars for May 13, 2026, at 14:00 CEST!

At this key event ESWA will present our roadmap for the next five years.
Join us to stay informed about the latest developments in sx workers' rights across Europe, set the plans for the future, and reconnect with fellow advocates.

"(Sx work) is a part of my life, my struggle, my survival.
And yes, I am not a victim.
I am a woman who chose her own
path, even when people pointed
fingers.
Sx work means courage, control and survival.
It means knowing your limits and not lettinganyone cross them.
I don't ask for pity. I ask for respect for me and for all the women who work with dignity, even when the world refuses to understand them.
Sx work is work and we deserve to be seen as human."
