RDL FORM CHECK 🧠🍑 (save your lower back + grow your glutes)
• Stand with feet hip-width apart for balance and stability
• Keep a slight bend in your knees (this is a hinge, not a squat)
• Brace your core + lightly tuck your pelvis to maintain a neutral spine
• Let your chin stay tucked and keep your neck aligned with your spine
• Push your hips back like you’re closing a door with your glutes
• Keep the weights close to your body, sliding down your thighs/shins
• Lower until you feel a deep stretch in your hamstrings/glutes (mid-shin is plenty)
• Drive through your heels and squeeze your glutes to stand tall
• If your back feels it more than your glutes — reset the weight and form
Strong hinge = stronger lifts, better gains, and a healthier lower back 🫶
