To all skate shop owners I take my cap off to you ✨ 27 years ago I took a leap of faith and opened a skate shop. I was 25 years old & The fuck did I know about opening a skate shop? Nothing! No business degree, industry connections ? I had the best of friends @relishit & BINGO in my corner and was a sponsored skateboarder but the industry weren’t checking for me or Liverpool like that back then. I was a student of the game! I learned from those before me @neildanns #offthewall and @thereid215 #fleapit ❤️ @lostartshop was and still is a small skateshop with a big heart, the vision was always to illuminate the city of Liverpool its skaters, it’s scene and the wider community! Did we make mistakes, absolutely! Do we still make mistakes, same answer. It’s fucking hard work and financially it seldom makes any sense but would the last 27years be as full without Lost Art? ✨ No fucking way, the kids that grew up around the shop who have gone on to add their stamp on and value to the creative arts, music and the culture of skateboarding is reward enough in its self. I love skateboarding that’s why I started a skate shop but it would be nothing without the input of so many over the years ❤️ I love you all & Thankyou to that “piece of wood with the skates on” #thereason
