Sometimes the reason things aren’t moving forward in your voiceover career…

It’s such a pleasure working with talented voice actors on their demos. I often direct remotely, but every now and then I get to be in the room and I love it.

Yesterday I was at @londonvoiceoverstudio directing @unstirredword on her commercial demo, and it was such a brilliant session.

There’s something so exciting about watching a demo come together in real time.

What I love most about directing demos is that moment when everything clicks, when an actor truly hears themselves the way the industry does. It’s not just about creating a polished reel; it’s about uncovering those authentic, bookable moments and building something that genuinely opens doors. Being part of that process, and seeing confidence grow in the room, is honestly one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

And as an added bonus, Nemo got to join us too 🐶
