Very excited to announce that my soundtrack to Marie Lidén's BAFTA nominated feature documentary 'Electric Malady' is now officially out on all major platforms!

Produced by @aconitedocs in association with @forestofblack and distributed by @conicfilm, the film was originally released in 2022.

Despite its rather heavy subject, the score was a joy to write, with cello contributions from the amazing @cellopete.

Electric Malady is coming to Finland! 🇫🇮

We’re excited to share that Electric Malady will have its Finnish premiere at @docpoint Helsinki Documentary Film Festival (January 30th - February 4th 2024) on the following dates:

📍Thursday 1st February 18:30 - 19:56 at Kinoplatsi 6.

Electric Malady is coming to Switzerland! 🏔️

The film will be screening at the 5th @globalsciencefilmfestival in Bern, Switzerland on Saturday 28th October for its Swiss premiere! 🌐

“In collaboration with the Swiss Science Film Academy, the mLAB presents the 5th Global Science Film Festival. World politics and science meet on the big screen. The festival will show international feature films, documentaries and short films that link social developments with current scientific debates. Following the film screenings, the topics will be explored in depth in moderated discussions between the audience, filmmakers and researchers.”

The screening will be followed by a conversation between director Marie Lidén and Tobias Bracht, professor at the University Hospital of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, Bern. The discussion will probe the way in which society deals with disturbing diseases and how these can be portrayed in film.

We are gearing up for the #BAFTA ceremony, and could not be more excited and honoured to be nominated.

Marie Lidén has been nominated for Outstanding Debut as a Director. This is a well-deserved recognition of Marie's dedication and talent, as well as that of everyone who put so much into the making of this film.

The BAFTA ceremony is taking place on Sunday, and we hope you will be tuning in and cheering us on!
