This past weekend, I had the joy of co-facilitating a music-production workshop on #ProTools at the @glaad Black Queer Creative Summit alongside the amazing @likwuid.

Endless gratitude to my dear friend and phenomenal human Jasmin Benward (@writeonjas) for presenting me with this opportunity. The energy in that space was electric—so many Black creatives gathered, celebrated, and truly nurtured in every facet of our humanity.

As a Black queer creative, my queerness is inseparable from how I live and create. This summit felt like a family reunion and a powerful reminder of our brilliance and resilience. Huge thanks to @glaad and the amazing team for curating an event whose impact will resonate for a long time to come. 💜

I just had to walk in silently and with a lot of reverence. This is @soundfactoryhollywood studios. This is the very studio and room where the Jackson 5 recorded “I Want You Back” and many other hits.

It’s located in Hollywood. This is the reason so many people flock to LA. It’s not just to be in LA, it’s to be in step with a rich musical heritage. It’s to be in step with the lineage of greatness.

I’m grateful to the amazing staff at Sound Factory for allowing me to bring clients here and for always being great hosts. Preserving the heritage and great legacy of black music and creation in Los Angeles.

I had the honor of speaking on stage at NAMM in Anaheim about the origins and vision of Gender Amplified. I know I’m a little late sharing this — the past few weeks have been beautifully full — but I wanted to pause and express deep gratitude.
