Today we had a visit from an old friend who races a Reynard 2.0 Formula Ford
The engine has been rebuilt and he wanted to run it in on the Dyno.
We were able to break the engine in with a combination of steady state under load and rpm capped power runs
The car is now ready for a race weekend, he can be sure the engine is ready to perform without wasting tack time.
The engine is a 2.0 Pinto engine and it performed very well

The car was rated at 125 ps or 123.29 Hp
After some investigation it was found the ecu had already been tuned (badly)
A standard file was put back on the car and it made 123.48 Hp - 125.19 ps !!
The customer was very pleased and the car could not be tuned correctly
Make sure you get your car tested on an accurate Dyno - some tuners do not even show you the before tuning figure and con you with thier 'Happy' Dyno
