Some time ago, my friend Matteo Verdini, aka Verdo, asked me to contribute to his album with additional production and mixing. This album is a tribute to the historic Gratis Club in Senigallia, a hidden gem of the northern Marche region where I and many other artists and friends performed countless times. Sadly, the club no longer exists, so this record is a heartfelt homage to it and everyone who played there. It’s the first time I took on something like this (except some friends tunes that came out on my old labels) and it’s also the first external project made in BKS Studio. Forgot to mention, I put on my David Woods dress to better suit the project. The album is set to be released on Hell Yeah Recordings in just over a week, and there will be a launch party this Sunday at Casa Nana in Senigallia, join Verdo and dance with him!
