I've made a few logos myself, but nothing beats the opportunity to commission a real illustrator. I've been very blessed to get to use ds//fp at this capacity, and we want to make sure that everyone's logo is archived and showcased properly instead of getting lost

Back in the day I was always told I have to brand ds//fp right or it will fail. That I have to put my logo on every spline of each cassette and CD release along with its catalog number to let people know that this is MY release and I'm here to tell you thats some bullshit. do what you want. its not about us or what I'm doing. this is about the releases, the music, the artwork, and sometimes my regular logo just isn't going to cut it for an artist's release and thats 100% okay. What if I put out a hardcore album, do you think they're gonna want my deathcore logo on there?

Today, our sophomore EP has been brought into the world. In conjunction with the digital release, we have also teamed up again with @dsfprecords to have the EP available in physical media.
CDs are limited to /250 copies hand-numbered in green paint. The title comes from the idea that every song from the EP represents a pivotal moment, “A Lapse Of Love”, in which a shift occurs. Sometimes immediate, sometimes gradual, the first four tracks are a shift in a relationship with someone else, and the last track being a shift in the relationship I have with myself, which I think ties the entire EP together nicely. Reflecting on the songs as a whole, it feels nice to see them as those pivotal moments that have been worked through and processed, giving them even further cohesion even though they all sit in slightly different spaces.
